We need to get our voice out there, and let the county and city know that we support the truckers, and they need to do something!

As promised!

Well, now that I have some time, here is the run-down of last night. We got there at around 6:45, and even at that time, parking was a hassle. The Public Storage next to the spot wasn't allowing people to park there, so as you can imagine, nightmare.

If you are planning to go trucking one of these nights, please keep in mind that as the popularity grows, so do the crowds, so try and get there early, unless you wanna wait on a huge line. I spoke to the people at Wing Commander, and they told me that they go through 80-100 lbs of chicken wings on an average Friday night...

Well, I walked around a bit to see what the different trucks were offering, and in the end, I went with the hot wings from Wing Commander.

I was not dissapointed. The wings were awesome, and the hot sauce wasn't so hot, and it was a bit sweet, which was great! They were accompanied by these round french fries in chilli they call "chippies" which were also really good. For $10 you get all this and a can of coke!

Here is a pic of what dinner looked like.

TRUST ME, that was good!

When trucking, remember that there are no tables, you bring you own, so come prepared! We ended up throwing some blankets on the ground, and basically, having a picnic. Others had huge tables and fold out chairs, which is also a way to go.

sorry for the crappy pic!

We ended up having some cupcake milshakes (They make a shake, and then put a cupcake inside and stir) from Sugar Rush. RIDICULOUS! You HAVE to try this. Unfortunately, I didnt take a pic of the shake...

Well, I hope some of you can make it out there. Remember, don't listen to Antoine Dodson and hide your kids, wife or husbands... Bring them out, enjoy an evening out there, doing something different. Some of the trucks even have kiddie menus! Most importantly, its time spent together with the family! I'll try to make it out there as often as possible, and report on the situation!

See you out there!

Here we go!

Got back home a little while ago from tonights food-truck gathering at "The Old Spot", Tamiami truckers food court, and it was PACKED. Glad to see so many people out there enjoying the best Miami has to offer. There were a TON of trucks, including fan favorites such as Yellow Submarine, Latin House Grill, Gastro-pod, Wing Commander and Sugar Rush, just to name a few. The lines were long and they were busy all night. Tomorrow I will post some pics from last night, as well and go through what I had for dinner! See you out there!
